Plan in London
Since I do not have much time in London during summer, so I cannot really do much about the dissertation here. Although I am going back home for summer, I still got few plans for before and after.
Primary Research
My neighbour is a set designer, she is back in Switzerland but I have sort of keep in touch with her. I hope she can help me out on my dissertation.

Before I go back to Hong Kong on the 28th May, I have already booked a ticket to visit the Royal Opera House’s backstage. After summer when I come back, I will spend more time on online research or reading.

Plans in Hong Kong
Talk with some acquaintance that are actor, set design students and media arts graduate. Perhaps I can look for someone who is related to both theatre and fashion. Over the summer, I will try to interview those students and actor I know in Hong Kong and if it is possible, I will also ask my cousin to help me on the translation. For contacting the set designer I know, I think I can conduct email interview.
I also have a plan to visit Taiwan this summer, and I have found people who know the theatre director called Stan Lai. He has experience in the theatre industry for around thirty years; one of the plays he directed is called Secret Love In Peach Blossom Land. I believe he can give help me to understand the theater industry in the east.

Primary Research - Stan Lai
Was talking with my friend about my dissertation ideas, and where I up to. She is telling me her family has some really close friends in the film and theatre industry.She was introducing me a Taiwan theatre director called Stan Lai. One of his successful play he directed is called Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land. This summer I am having a plan to visit Taiwan, so if its possible, I might have a chance to meet him if he is available.

Primary Research - Simon Lo
Remembered my father is actually connected with a actor in Hong Kong called Simon Lo. He used to be really active on TV programmes and dramas, but now he is concentrating on theatre plays. He has directed a play called 看更 (Security) last year. Recently he is preparing for his next play.
